Water Ionization Process



Water ionization is the method of producing a concentration of alkaline and acidic minerals by separating the oxygen and hydrogen found in water.  It is a simple process that purifies and alters tap water such that it hapens to be one of the most effective and easy ways to rid the body of acid wastes and to reverse the aging process.
 
Water ionization is a remarkable, easy, and inexpensive way to prevent disease, add to your good health, and retard aging.  Water ionization is such a tremendous technology that was developed and perfected by a Japanese company that began manufacturing huge ionization units for hospitals in 1974. 

Water ionization is new to the United States (a generally unhealthy-acidic society).  It is a form of water treatment that is believed by many alternative health experts to increase the health of the water that passes through the ionizer.

Ionization Process

Ionization is the process of converting liquids or particles wholly or partly into ions; it simply means gaining or losing an electron. It is a process of electrically charging water by running the water over positive and negative electrodes, ionizing the minerals in the water and creating a high PH, alkaline water.

The electrodes are made of platinum coated titanium, one of the toughest, yet human-friendly metals known and will provide excellent conductivity to ensure efficient ionization of water.

The desired method for ionization is with electrolysis whereby water passes between metal plates that are highly charged, and the strong electrical current “restructures” the water molecules creating two outputs – one output with a high concentration of OH- ions and the other output with a high concentration of H+ ions. The concentration of hydrogen ions (H+) is acidic and the concentration of hydroxide radicals (OH-) is alkaline. Hydrogen Bonding Effects

Pure water at 25°C has an equal concentration of dissolved hydrogen ions (H+) and hydroxide ions (OH-) and is considered neutral. pH measures the concentration of hydrogen and hydroxide ions on a scale from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. 

Even very slight strengthening of the hydrogen bonds may have substantial effects on  normal metabolism.  Water ionization becomes much less evident if the hydrogen bonds are just a few percent stronger but pure water contains considerably more H+ ions if they are few percent weaker. 

Stronger water hydrogen bonding leads to water molecules clustering together and so not being available for biomolecular hydration.  The high density of liquid water is due mainly to the cohesive nature of the hydrogen-bonded network.
